Felice Tatangelo

He holds a degree with Dist. in Geological Sciences from the University “ G. D'Annunzio ” of Chieti-Pescara, Italy, 2001, and a Phd focused on GIS and numerical modelling to support groundwater management in alluvial and coastal aquifers, from the same University, 2006. He has been working in Italy and abroad in the fields of applied geology, geophysics and environmental remediation, and actively supporting research and teaching activities at the Geosciences Dpt. His research interest also include aquifers vulnerability assessment, geochemistry and isotopic analysis, geostatistics, database architecture analysis and development. Since 2006 he has been working within society of ENI, the Italian oil company, performing analysis, planning and monitoring of groundwater remediation and containment systems, hydrogeological data acquisition and interpretation, implementation of data infrastructures in GIS/geodatabase environments for spatial analysis and cartographic visualizations, development of 2D/3D and density-dependent groundwater models to support environmental characterization and remediation projects in relevant national industrial sites. He is author of few papers presented at international conferences and published on specialized journals in hydrogeology and environmental remediation.
